Eastside Magazine was created to capture the heart of East San José by highlighting the community’s deeply rooted history, cultural vibrancy, ample assets, and considerable resources. We aim to emphasize a sense of pride, appreciation, and understanding of East San José as not just an important point of destination, but a home with a rich cultural legacy as the heart of San José.

We couldn’t do it without your support. Most of our operating budget—smaller than what most mainstream magazines spend on a single issue—comes from the generous contributions of people who believe in our mission. The money we raise goes directly into improving the magazine and elevating the stories of our eastside community.
