De colores is my school, the buildings and the people, too. 
I’m a shade of 
BROWN 

BROWN like the cute squirrels 
climbing up the trees | playful 
BROWN like the soil that helps the flowers grow
BROWN like the hands that keep them 

BROWN like my father 
Strong 
A protector 

I’m a shade of BROWN 

I don’t understand 
what there is not to like? 

De colores is my school, the buildings and the people, too. 

Although my shade of BROWN doesn’t seem to match them all,
Although BROWN is what this country tries to rub off, 

I do believe 
‍ ‍BROWN 
is the most beautiful color of them all.
